World Lit Resource

Here's a terrific list of World Lit resources from Eva at A Striped Armchair.

Thank you, Eva!

Just a quick note: Got back from the 3-day flyback to my home to visit father and family. Very productive. I'm exhausted! Dad is making progress, but most likely will need to remain in some sort of skilled nursing care. Tough to get him and mom to grasp that. But, it's really a day at a time at this point...

Thanks again to everyone for their good wishes.

We'll be back to book blogging soon, I hope. Will I be glad when my brain can handle Proust again!

Hope he can go home again after getting some skilled care, anyway... I can't imagine a couple being separated like that, but whatever happens, they are lucky to have you.

Dennis can handle Proust. Dennis wonders what Proust is.

I'm glad your father is doing well and I hope you are able to work out the extra care and help he and your mom need.

I'm so glad that the news is at least cautiously positive. Keep taking care of yourself - these things really batter the immune system.

Glad your back and will be thinking of you as you deal with the new life changes for you, your mom and your dad.

Proust is waiting for you as much as you are probably waiting for him.

So glad to hear your dad is making progress. It is so hard to deal with ill parents because those lines between child and parent all of a sudden blur. You want to do what's right for them but without making them feel totally dependent. It's hard. So continued good vibes for your dad and don't forget to take care of yourself :)

Thanks so much for the link! :) I echo everyone's well wishes. Good luck with Proust-he scares me.

Glad to hear your dad is making progress. I can imagine how hard it is for you right now. My grandma had a stroke many years ago and it was a hard time for the whole family, especially my mom who had to take care of everything including finding skilled nursing care. All the best to you and your dad and the whole family.
