Work has been an utter hell of pointless yet time-consuming drivel. So for this Thursday, we'll let
Samuel Pepys have his say. It is good to check his diary out from time to time and read about people mounting horses and drinking at taverns and suchlike.

Thanks a million for this link Litkit~ I do so like Pepys. I'm sure you've read Claire Tomalin's biography; it's one of the very best biographies I've ever read. That, and Taylor Branch's Parting the Waters, about Dr. King's early years. It's such a pick me up, seeing Pepys go through his days with so much energy.
