I also have the bio on Ted Hughes by Elaine Feinstein, which is good. It is obvious that Hughes heavily influenced Plath, and that their collaboration benefited them both as writers. I also just read a textbook on Plath, ironically published by a place called Greenwood (Plath's grandmother's surname, the original source for Esther Greenwood, The Bell Jar protaganist). Nothing really new in it, but it does include an extensive bibliography.LKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05445951627105831041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8995634.post-45272469432080645852006-12-16T06:43:00.000-08:002006-12-16T06:43:00.000-08:00Hello:

I've been on a little Plath/Hughes kick for the past couple of weeks...have you read "Her Husband: Hughes and Plath--a Marriage" by Diane Middlebrook? Just wondering what you thought of that, if so. Also thanks for your other Plath picks in other posts....I've got to get that Assia Wevill book pronto.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8995634.post-87536339282699027492006-12-15T15:57:00.000-08:002006-12-15T15:57:00.000-08:00You got me interested in Plath's journals. She wrote so much great "confessional" stuff, but also a lot of beautiful poems that are more traditional that I liked too.Rebecca H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10825532162727473112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8995634.post-1756731540259123612006-12-15T10:28:00.000-08:002006-12-15T10:28:00.000-08:00Oh, I hope to read future comments from you if and...Oh, I hope to read future comments from you if and when you get a chance to dig into some of SP's poetry!LKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05445951627105831041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8995634.post-6336925656522526642006-12-15T07:58:00.000-08:002006-12-15T07:58:00.000-08:00I'm taking note of all of this.
